Hey Rori, just wanted to follow up because you said that students have had a problem with their
door shutting. I too live on the ground floor facing the pool and I too have experienced this, somedays it honestly
feels that when I am leaving my room, someone is on the inside keeping the door from closing. Some days I have
to put all my weight into it (I'm 6'3'' 205 lbs) just to close my door, but other days it is as smooth as a brand
new door. I just assumed it had to do with humidity.
Also, my friend lives in Dyson, on the ground facing
the courtyard and he has had some experiences too. One story in particular was one night when he was trying
to sleep and he was alone, he kept getting chills, feeling afraid and had the feeling as if someone else was in the room.
Then all of a sudden he heard a sound like someone's lips smacking together, as if they were eating peanut butter.
Every time he got up to check on the noise, it would stop. He also kept thinking that he saw someone out of
the corner of his eye. Finally, at the peak of his fright, he said he swore he heard a voice whisper, "hey".
At that point he turned on the lights, put some music on and fell asleep that way.
Feel free to post my emails
on your site, and keep my posted on anything else! Thanks! John

"Another thing that happened lat quarter was that I had been sleeping soundly for quite some
time when i awoke having a hard time breathing, I have never had any problems like this before, i figured i could just
move around and get resituated. it became increasingly harder for me to breathe and i tried to move but i couldnt.
It felt as if someone or something was pressing down on my chest with great force. I opened my eyes to try and see
what was going on, as soon as i opened my eyes and looked around the pressure stopped and i was able to breathe again."

Hey,
I live in Dyson room 319 and I have heard strange noises all year but
just chalked them up to plumbing and such, but after reading some of the
stories on your site, I'm starting to wonder. I constantly hear the
sound of marbles being dropped on the floor above me, and it sounds as if
they are being rolled around. I have also heard hammering as well as
the sound of furniture being moved in the middle of the night. One
specific night I actually went upstairs to see what all the commotion was,
only to find the room above me dark with the occupants no doubt asleep.
Also, I sometimes hear the sound of a woman's highheels walking around
above me at late hours of the night. I don't think it is a girl coming
home from work because the sound happens at all sorts of hours, 2am,
4am, 11pm, 10pm. I also don't see why someone would simply walk around
their room wearing high heeled shoes.
Just thought I'd share my experiences.
Sincerely
John
